Due to its geographical location, Jardín is a very good place for birdwatching because it has a great variety of endangered, endemic and vulnerable species.
This is a three-hour tour that starts at 6:00 a.m. heading towards a road near town, in a walking of approximately 4 kilometres it is possible to see around 140 species of birds. Some of them endemics, such as the Red-bellied Grackle and Colombian Chachalaca.
The area is surrounded by coffee and banana plantation with some forest patches.
